Al Owens Golf
Al Owens is an Award Winning Golf Instructor and Best-Selling Author having taught over 32,000 lessons to players of all levels and ages. Now in his 34th year of coaching he is excited to bring his coaching expertise to Swing Center.

His extensive coaching background includes being a Master Instructor for the PGA Tour Academy in Scottsdale, AZ and the Lead Master Instructor for Movement 3 Golf located in Chicago, IL where he was voted top 5 coaches in Chicago by Chicago Golf Magazine.

His coaching expertise includes being Certified SportsboxAI Motion Measurement Golf Performance Coach ( 1 of only 12 in CA), a TPI Level III Expert and being certified by the Grey Institute of Biomechanics, Nike NG360.

He was voted the #1 coach in Indianapolis, IN and has been a top ranking golf coach in San Diego, CA Sacramento, CA and Glenview, IL. While in Indiana he helped create the first Junior Golf Tour in the state, a tour that to this day hosts over 700 juniors annually.

His highly advanced indoor coaching experience is now coming to Swing Center!

His expertise with indoor video analysis, body motion measurement and detailed ball flight data led him to receive the Outstanding Coaching Achievement Award GOLFTEC between 2018-2023, recognizing him as one of the premier coaches for that company in the United States. He is a Best-Selling Author, having published three books on the mental side of golf. Since 2020 he has been a Valued Professional Staff Member with Taylor Made Golf.

Every lesson Al creates with his students includes video analysis and Body Motion data. As the only coach in the Central Valley using these two technologies my players are finding the benefits from these technologies to dramatically improve their game, lowering their scores by 3-6 shots in less than 6 months.
As Al explains: ‘The best time to work on your swing is the off season (November to March). In these months golfers should work passionately to create more distance, better accuracy with shots and creating a more consistent swing and shot pattern. ‘
